I've gone and done it!

Yesterday was the first time I have ever experienced Blu Berry Yogurt....I was impressed and know that I will be returning. There are too many options that simply do not go together. They must be selected in their own group of yumminess! Thank you Debbie for the treat.

A few more keepsakes about to bite the dust

These are my Thanksgiving Pilgrims that I made about 25 years ago.
Aren't they the cutest? I have hung them on our front door all these years.
I didn't hang them out this year.
My new front door won't accomodate these little darlings.
I think I'm putting them in the giving away.

Scott made us this poster of his accomplishments. I think it might have been a Mother's Day gift for me.
He makes us proud still to this day. He has checked off some important accomplishments during his life.
We look forward to more .

Pizza Casserole

Today on Facebook someone posted this recipe. It looked yummy so I tried it.

Pizza Casserole
1 - 16 oz rotini pasta
1 lb - Italian Sausage
1 - 20 oz jar pasta sauce
1 - 16 oz cottage cheese
1 - 2 1/2 oz can sliced olives
1 - 4 oz can mushrooms, drained
12 oz mozzarella cheese
2 - 3oz packages sliced pepperoni

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13
Cook pasta. Brown sausage. Mix in pasta and sauce. Pour in casserole dish. Mix cottage cheese, olives, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Spoon cheese mixture over sausage/pasta mixture. Top with pepperoni slices. Bake 25 minutes or until bubbly & slightly brown.

Before
After
It was tasty, but if I would make it again I would try to intensify the flavor a bit. I used the Prego spaghetti sauce from Costco....so it tasted a lot like everything else I make. So maybe your own pizza sauce would be tastier. I don't think I used as much pepperoni as it called for. I had to dab off the grease on those little slices. So I would recommend snazzing it up with the things that you would do to a homemade pizza. I did love all the cheese!
