Brian's Mom Shari was able to stop by on Sunday. She brought Brian's baby blanket. It was made for Brian by one of Shari's very good friends. Shannon said this morning that Brian got a little twinkle in his eye when she brought it out of her suitcase last night when she got home.
Brian's blanket definitely was well used.....what a sweet surprise and gift from Shari.

That is so sweet, its becoming a real heirloom with this second generation. The shower was so cute, everybody was there---I'm so sad I couldn't be there. Shannon is looking really cute pregnant!
Hey Gayle, how are you liking your new Dyson vacuum, now that you've had it a while? Our vacuum is dead, so we're looking at some Dysons at Costco now. Just wanted to get an opinion from a real owner.
Cindy, A vacuum is a vacuum. It definitely sucks better than my old one. It is taking me several uses to figure out how to use it. It is not good for stairs - it's awkaard I think using the attachments because the hose is so TIGHT. I have to pull it out and drape it over my shoulder so it doesn't recoil while I'm using it. We have always had a canister vacuum so switching to an upright is an adjust too. I think I will love it in my one story house in Utah. I do like dumping the canister after I use it. No more bags. Definitely not designed by a woman who uses it. It feels like a man's vacuum. :) It's an engineering feat, not so much a woman's best friend.
Thanks for the info, especially about the stairs, ugh. But I have to say, some vacuums are better than others, especially if you've had one that barely sucks. I like more power! :) I think you'll be loving that one story living in Utah too. So much easier!
